I was actually gaming last week on a PC
Although MS's unprecedented popularity almost made the term PC synonymous with windows, it is in fact not. Linux can also run on your PC.
before windows and the nvidia driver broke, and wow would not play. I just couldnt be bothered to waste more time fixing windows. If I need it, Ill reinstall it, but right now I dont.
Has never ever happened to me on win7. Only hardware giving in. You might be doing it wrong.
I would play bf3 but I got bored of it. I often have HON and WOW open at the same time. I guess I use my PC differently to you :)
And I assume you also often play HoN and WoW and watch a movie at the same time ?

Lastly, do yourself a favour and familiarize yourself with solid state storage technology and all it's numerous advantages.

rofl, do I see an epeen match to see which IT techy knows the most? Just lol lol lol.

Today anyone can really come forth as an IT techy, it really doesn't mean much.
As for throwing in the SSD there in a OS fight...lol again.

Guys, relax. Who cares what either of you think are the best? At the end of the day, it is up to the guy supporting those systems. Lazy techs will go with whatever has external support, mostly because they couldn't care less to actually learn how things work. Guys that actually know something, will probably go with something that is more solid and stable in the long run and can be left unattended. Sadly, I can't say any of those things for desktop os's, but come server os's...different story.

None the less, who cares what you play games on?

Oh and this is the WoW: MoP thread, not OS Wars 101.

This type of irony can only come from "Guys that actually know something"...

Very true, apologies, I let myself get baited :D I am not an IT techie. I grew out of that position around 10 years ago.

So anyways, I am level 12. Just dig WSG. Got WSG perfection! Got a flag as well. Almost at 13 :D Of course I chose horde.

I finally got MoP. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play tonight.

I did do a couple of pet battles this morning. I only had to train it on one character. It caught me by surprise when I started a pet battle in icecrown with a character that didn't train it. A level 1 pet vs. a level 22 pet. Goes without saying that I got my ass kicked in that one.

I actually just want to get home now to get back into the swing of things in MoP.

I haven't had this since my raiding hay days in TBC, it's awesome.

So not funny

abandonallhope: this is where my desktop becomes useful. The queue is over an hour long. I want to play but I will have to wait. I slide to another desktop and open hon, they both run on max video settings smoothly. When I have time Ill reinstall windows. I use many OS`s and until they port bf3 to nix, I need that install :D

Crazy crazy crazy.

You have 2 options :
1. migrate the hell away from outland
2. wait till the expansion rush is over, or dealt with.

Although a high pop realm is always nice I have a feeling 2 is not an option, it wouldn't be for me !

I like the high population server because world pvp is way more fun. Also everything is on the AH so no need to mission if you have lots of gold. My current strategy is to login to my pc at home an hour before I leave work so I can play by 6pm :D

There is one thing so far i am very dissapointed about , no ring of blood until your lvl90!

always gave me a massive exp boost for doing nothing, just gave me something to smile about while i level!

maybe i am wrong but heard its a lvl 90 thing now.

We've just applied a hotfix that removes the faction requirements for Justice gear.

Shado-Pan and August Celestial factions will no longer require Golden Lotus faction to purchase this gear. This will allow players who have reached level 90 to have additional sources of item level (ilevel) 450 gear to progress into the Dungeon Finder Heroic dungeons more readily.

Players who are looking to purchase this gear should seek out the following vendors:

Townlong Steppes:
Shado-Pan - Rushi the Fox in Shado-Pan Garrison
All - Commander Lo Ping in Niuzao Temple

Vale of Eternal Blossoms:
August Celestials - Sage Lotusbloom or Sage Whiteheart in the Horde and Alliance Shrines
Golden Lotus - Jaluu the Generous in front of Mogu’shan Palace

Dread Wastes:
Klaxxi - Ambersmith Zikk in Klaxxivess

Yay :D

Oh, since we are doing this:

Priest (90) Jewelcrafting and Alchemy (600)
Druid (90) Herbalism and Mining (600)
Paladin (89) Instription (587) and Blacksmithing (525)

Currenlty working on Pandaria loremaster for Priest while doing random heroics and scenarios, should possibly finish this tomorrow night.

Haha, epic. My panda is only lvl 40 :( Loving levelling him. Mistweaver can do dps as well :D

Does anyone have a mistweaver here. Interested to know what talents/glyphs you chose. For instance, instead of Chi energy I chose Zen Sphere. Was that a good choice?

So far this is my favourite expansion.
