That took a while

Always some sort of bite from outsiders looking in, guess its fun looking down on people when you can - i don't get it though

The pace we progress with suites our lifestyles just fine

You ok man? I did say GZ right?

Yes it took a while, which is stating the obvious and there is nothing wrong when you doing it at your pace.
Right, I'll rather say you guys stuck together and did it, which is great. Some dedication right there! GZ. Impressive considering I got bored of ToS some time ago already.

One of the things that killed WoW for me. You get those people that push push push to complete the content for world/server 1st or second or whatever.
I never understood it because these very same people would then get bored of current content and stop playing until the next content patch... rince, repeat.
But would also have near snide comments with regards to those people who finish the content later than they do... (sorry snow but I also read some snide in that comment, even if not meant)

But also some of the point being made in recent discussions. You have to play the game to what suits you, join the guild that suits you.

Personally, i woulda congratulated you and left it at that - Anyway, no real harm done. Just a bit of a jab in the side i guess

Just seems like a bit of a trend these days.
Ill point you to when we downed Guldan. Have a look at those comments

I kinda feel bad for those people. i mean we made the one dude nauseous by killing him and enjoying it!!

We already know that you guys as a guild with 2 groups do things at your pace and have fun together. It's not like there is a competition. I also don't know or care what other people on twitter or whatever says, neither should you.
I'm far more impressed at the dedication you bunch showed there as a group and reached your goal over this time.
Sure I could have used a few more words in my 1st post, and I see how it can be taken if you already sensitive about it, but it was from my phone.

@DMNknight

I had my 3 raid days a week and did not push for server 1st or whatever. We also do things at a pace that suit our group, but yes I myself and others did get bored of ToS a while back. It did not happen with the previous Legion content.
Not sure if it's ToS itself or just the fact that Legion has been going for a while. I do personally think it's ToS.

You guys still fully happy running ToS? How do you see it vs previous raids?
I've had a timeout now and enjoying having fun with friends and also maybe running ToS somewhere in the week if I feel like it.

Not the 1st time ppl taken things I say wrong/differently, when I did not mean it that way. I just say sh#t, I'm an acquired taste I guess :p
Sorry :)

There are definite challenges in running things "at your own pace" so much kudos to the peeps.

I'm no longer with WoW because I got tired of the characters I played being reworked. My mage, priest and Deathknight are most certainly not the same characters as when I started with them.
The curse of playing WoW for 13 years.

Even the "on release" of the Demon Hunter showed massive promise as a highly mobile mid-range damage dealer, all they had to do was tweak the numbers a little... but instead they shoehorned the class into the melee slot where it really felt like an ill fit and the play-style (to me) was unintuitive.

It's like Blizzard has these gems of brilliance and shuts them down to be normalised.

No need to apologize though, you are who you are, Mr Blunt needs to smoke one and chill the **** out :p
(as an aside, I didn't take insult, though I saw it could be... I simply know the truth to be otherwise and therefore no insult could be taken.)

Yes, I 100% get what you are saying. I've also been playing for that time and the changes has been insane!
You have to adapt but its not always enjoyable with the direction they are going in. Takes a while till you find your place or class atm.

Also how tier sets affect the gameplay annoys me when it just about totally changes the play style and not in a good way. In my mind it is suppose to add to it and improve, make more fun, which is not always the case.

Ow btw atm I'm keen to try Destiny 2 when it hits pc later the month!

some servers are connected, others arent. So you would have to be on one of the connected realms to be able to join the guild

Hi guys

Wow old-timer here, mature player, knows what it takes and can bring the goods.
History - FoA social noob member for a few weeks , ended up in Unforgiven and Unforgiven II (yea, drama!) also had a tiny stint with Awakened Guardians years and years ago.
I cannot even recall the cronologic sequence of how I server hopped between migrating guild members... all I know is, it was massive massive fun (not the drama tho).

Main raiding character was a shammy (any spec, but mostly on heals) named Omaya.
Also had a warrior tank Pulldozer.

Would love to get back into things socially for now, maybe take it further once I hit 110.
Where do I go?

While im at it, small update

We are back raiding with both teams - Group1 cleared the instance on normal this week and will hit heroic very soon, group2 is 7/11 and will hopefully clear it this week

Still looking for some South African raiders - we need DPS, healer and tank spots are full

Intz is a kokkerot and forgets things at the best of times :)
But I'll hassle him about it tonight. :D
Although I'll only make my return to WoW with the next expansion!
