Wow vs Guild Wars

I am playing WOW at the moment! Dont know which would be the better game to play have heard allot about Guild Wars! Which is the better 1 to play Guild Wars or WOW? Want to go buy Guild Wars but not sure dont want to spend all that money and its as waste of time!

i started on guildwars... nice to have the no monthly payment and the events are good, no ganking, but you really don't get that mmorpg feeling like wow. But pvp and such in guildwars is 1000 times better than wow in that its all about play skill and skill sellection, unlike wow where 90% is about the gear.

I've also played Guild Wars, and I liked it, but it doesn't even come close to Wow.

You have to bear in mind that when you're outside of a town in GW, you will not bump in to ANY human players. Every time you step outside of town, you and your party enter your own instance of the game.

You cant compare the two games. GW is basically a multiplayer RPG with a build in instant messenger (towns), while WoW is a true MMORPG.
