Friend of mine signup yesterday(TOLD HIM THEY WHERE FAST):sick:
He has not receive any conformation e-mail. I tried phone......all I get is music:confused: after 15min I hangup.....tried again...same story!

WEBAFRICA sort out your problems!!! u loosing business:mad:

Our apologies for any problems you may be experiencing, if you could perhaps pm me the client code, or alternatively get your friend to send through a support ticket and/or check his client service area's services list to determine whether the account is active or not, we can then resolve the situation.

Just spoke to Matthew, seems they having telkom problems. Was very helpfull and sorted out the problem fast.

I spoke to one angry gentlemen today. Perhaps you? Their client had signed up with 'zo.za' email address. ;)

The phones though have definitely been a bit flaky, still waiting on Telkom to install our new PRI box at the new offices so I must apologise for that.

Anyhow if it wasn't you, PM me your code and we'll get you sorted.

Yea that was me:D ....was just angry to be on hold so long...and when a "lady" pickup...she sounds like the the teagirl covering for the real accounting person. Squeek like a mouse when she talk:eek:

dude...waiting for 15 min is nothing compared to Telkom. My last effort was 30min.

Have you actually tried getting through to Vodacom customer care? I waited 56 minutes to get through today only to be cut off after an hour...ffs

Waiting 15min is disgusting IMO. I can tolerate about 5 minutes before I start getting annoyed ;p.

I agree 5 mins is acceptable for phone calls.

I must say that I've never had any issues with web africa. I just started with them and payed for my prepaid account via bank transfer. Knowing that bank transfer do take a while to go through and all I was expecting a bit of a wait. The account was queued for a day, the day after I paid at 9pm. The next day I decided, fine I don't wanna wait so long, I did after all send them proof of payment. I submitted a ticket on their web interface and got a reply within about 10 mins saying my account has been activated and they're sorry for the delay. I must say that i was suprised at their quick reply.

That is what I expect from each and every company that I do business with. I don't want to have to wait for days while they decide if they want to get back to me or not. If companies have problems with this, that's their issue, not mine and will not be receiving my money!

Thanks for being a great company WA and I hope you continue with your great service

Maybe their major shareholder suggested the pooling of resources resulting in one call centre for both Vodacom and Telkom. I mean it is quite easy for the helpdesk people not to help at all!

voda customer care has a ring-back effort, quite nifty, as i find waiting a f-cking waste of time:)

push # while u wait & hang up. they phone u back when an operator is available. otherwise u wait 4 hrs...
