Is this game any good ? I checked and you can download the full version for free apparently. Could someone shed more light on this ?

Yeh its a great game and it is free. Its made by the US army, so in the game you always play US vs. Terrorists. Normally 2 full servers of 26 a night playing. There are also quite a few local clans. Its similar to CSS but a bit slower and more tactical. It is a 2.7gb download, but if you go to the forums on americasarmy.co.za im sure youll find someone willing to burn you a copy. I am in durbs. I think the AA community is a bit more friendly than CSS. I'd recoomend you give it a try.

Does the game need an international connection to connect to the main server thingy? what i mean is it like bf2 or like steam? ;p could i play it on a local account? I want to try a new game ;p

It's a local server. Should be able to work even on a caped account.

The game does require an international connection to log in, but you can open a server without logging in, and the server will authenticate for you. So what I am saying is you can play on a local only account.
