Xbox 360 - Bought Game Stays in Trial Mode

Hi everyone

I am new the whole console gaming thing. I bought a 2nd hand Xbox 360 for my daughter and reset it to defaults. Registered my own Microsoft account and linked the profile to the Xbox.

Then I bought a game from the store using the mobile app since I can't add my credit card details on the console itself (it doesn't support South African Regions when adding payment methods)

After I bought the game I tried downloading it to the console and where you confirm the purchase it sees it as "Already purchased" but when I download and install the game its still in trial mode.

Am I doing something wrong?

Trying to get help from Microsoft in South Africa is like trying to deal with government, just not worth the effort for the R120 I spent.

Sounds like your logged into two different accounts.You shouldn't have any issues with cc details on the xbox vs the MS account.
Check that they are both the same.

I use MS live chat for these issues, they've always solved my issue. It takes a while to get an answer after you've answered their scripted questions: "Hi, How are you?" "What is your gamertag?" "That is a pretty cool gamertag, I like it!" "What can I help you with?"
