I want to share my xbox one so that I can get some more games. The problem is, all my friends are already sharing. Would it be a risk to share my console with a complete stranger? I don't use my credit card for purchases. I only use codes.

Thanks

Yes because they could simply take complete ownership of the account and you'll lose access to it and never see it again.

Thank you for the advice. I think I will stick to being on my own for now, until I've got a buddy I trust.

I'd rather grind and buy my own games instead of sharing and taking risks. Could work with close family but the rest....

The only way you can prevent them taking ownership is to go and do the game sharing yourself, once you've added your account you lock it down.
