This is just because of the improved exchange rates. Took their own sweet time

To be fair, it's not like the stock they already had suddenly went down in price when the exchange rate improved. They either had to sell that stock and buy new stock at the better rate (which can take time depending on how much stock they had), or Microsoft World Wide had to give permission for a rebate on the stock already bought (which is unlikely to have happened).

I won a XB1 in a competition a few months ago and promptly sold it. Although I was pleased to have won something, a game console is as useful to me as an ashtray on a motorbike. If I'm going to play computer games it is only going to be on a Windows PC. There are no alternatives.
