xbox with kinect best christmas deal

Asking for a friend,

he is looking for the best deal on an xbox, currently he has found at bt games for the 4gb with kinect and the kinect adventures game and one controller for R2999

Anyone know of a better deal anywhere?

well i found some deals
takealot has xbox for R3299 thats the 4g combo weith kinect.
very good deal is at makro but its a contract
R185 a month but you get a crappy phone but you get xbox 250g + kinect +3 games

How is it a better deal?? You said the BT Games deal you get one game. For R299 extra you get two extra games and last i checked, you can't get Xbox games for R149.50 each??

the takealot one is R300 more with nothing extra, the makro contract one is like R1500 more for 3 extra games so again how is that a better deal?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Judging by the amount of console harddrive space i have used so far for patches etc. I would reccomend rather going for the 250GB model.
Musica has the Xbox 360 slim with controller , wifi and 250GB for R2999.

i also recommended to him to go for the larger HDD however he thinks the 4GB will be enough

the 250gb model is a good option cause you wont want your laser to burn out ...but if he has a 3grand budget then he has to get the 4gb

and the kinect with 250gb normally goes for around 4grand

but thats just the kinect and xbox no real extras

Does OP specifically want a kinect ?
I will rather buy the kinect as an add-on later than a harddrive and judging by the amount of space i have already used on my xbox harddrive , just for profiles , saved games and patches in the past six months he will have to buy a new harddrive fairly quick.
(+- 40GB already used, so technically i would have had to delete data to make space for new data on an average of more than once a month)

My daughter has no interest in the R500 i spent on Move games, so have decided to get her the Kinect then. I see a special for R2999 (Kinect, 4gb + some games) i assume this is pretty good?

Makro has about the best deal atm(also R2999) but with the most amount of games(4) included.
