Is it killing the background apps like hangouts or messenger? See my previous post about going to developer options and disabling memory optimization.
YesAnd is that a fingerprint scanner on the back, Huawei-style?
Geez something doesn't sound right. Firmware up to date?I've now factory reset the phone, activated developers options and disabled the memory optimization - nada, still no sms's. The phone also seems to be unable to reboot / restart after shut down - have to do a battery pull for it to restart.

That is the newest the device not powering off without a battery pull is very strange I suggest sending it back asap.MIUI 7.2.3.0 - Checking for updates indicate that there is none available

Agreed. Pretty useless video. Dude comparing the rate at which the apps open and not much else. This made me lol.
S5 would still kick ass I rate. The Note 2 would be more in line with the S4 spec-wise. The Note 3 I'm not too sure aboutThere a lot of Galaxy S5 around , how would Redmi Note 2 or 3 rate against an S5?
Would rate pretty well, as ive had an S5 before. The Redmi is a pretty solid device imo considering the price you paying for it.There a lot of Galaxy S5 around , how would Redmi Note 2 or 3 rate against an S5?
After my Mi4i got stolen last week, my Redmi 2 Pro arrives today.
Note 2 or 2 Pro, cause the 2 pro is an entry level phone and won't compare to the Mi4i.
Regarding the Samsung S5 vs the Redmi Note 2, the Note 2 actually seems to be about the same in benchmarks maybe a bit better, considering the S5 wasn't really a massive step up from the S4. The big difference is the faster cpu and the better camera.
Me too. It's got NFC and a nice big battery aswell which the other cheaper Xiaomis are lacking. http://mia.africa.com/za/ should just get it here ASAP.This is what i want:

It's called a Xiaomi mi Max and features a 6. 44' display.
I've got big hands so this phone would be perfect.
Jarre they are making it hard to resist https://m.takealot.com/#product?id=PLID41357097
Damn good price, maybe redmi note 3 imminent.
Think id kick myself if next week the newer models all arrive.
