I just bought a brand new Redmi Note 2. Was working for a couple of days and now when i make out calls there's no dial tone and when receiving there's just ringing and you can't answer. I've tried changing network settings like LTE, 3G and 2G and still not working and also tried changing the sim card in both 2 slots. It is running the current firmware on it so there is no need for an update. Anyone got any ideas to fix this problem?

Depending on the cost I'd buy one off ebay and take it to an independent cell repair shop for them to fit. But it might be nearly as expensive as a new phone...

I received my tempered glass screen protectors in the mail yesterday - I ordered two in case I mess one up, and the install was very easy.

I did it (don't laugh) in the bathroom with the shower running piping hot water whilst butt naked to minimize the amount of residual dust in the air. The last one I applied whilst clothed and a speck of dust made its way onto the protector and I had to chuck it away. I removed the stock matte protector, gave the screen a quick wipe with a saturated isopropyl alcohol wipe and aligned the protector on the screen. They supply you with two small 'tabs' that you wrap around the phone like a hinge to get the protector on 100% straight. I positioned it, applied the tabs, gave the screen a final wipe, pulled off the protective backing and lowered the protector onto the screen. I let it bond properly for about an hour before I used it and I can confirm that there is not one single speck of dust using this method

any reputable sellers at that price? geekbuying is selling it at $44. Saw some locally at R 1340 which is a bit too much. Im looking to spend 1k max but im not keen to buy from china.
