Personally I'd push for the 3S as I could find value in the bigger battery and FP reader alone

Yes but if you get a good deal on the Mi4 then that's better. The Note 3 has excellent battery life and fingerprint reader.

I suspect that perhaps the other retailers also have stock issues, so it may be that the issue is actually at the factory. Whether it is true that remains to be seen

My Redmi Note 3 doesn't charge properly. The charger constantly connects / disconnects. Anyone had similar issues? Or had to return the WeChat/Incredible Connection black Friday phone for warranty purposes?
