I had the same problem

Had to tell mi box to forget the router then restarted the box as it wouldn't accept the password. Put password in after restart and it worked.
MMM, i'll try that too. Fck, have had wifi issues since day 1. Then for 2-3 weeks everything runs smooth.

If you/they upgrade you to a router with 5GHz one day all your issues will more than likely go away, the Mi Box loves the 5GHz band, especially if it's Wireless ac too.

I have never had issues with WiFi so I decided to check the channel used. Used 'WiFi Analyser' app on my phone. What is the 5G saying (bottom right corner)?

you should be able to log in with 192.168.100.1:8080 (verify with an ipconfig check via cmd)

It most probably runs on "routerOS" which is very complicated the 1st time around :cautious:

That's if the ISP is willing to share the username & password if they changed it
They probably don't give that out unless you insist, they don't want the average user to mess around with it coming from a normal Netgear etc to a MikroTik.

Yep. They will send a tech out to change the channel if necessary. Can't log in from my side.

Something I've noticed which the app devs can probably fix is when I use Plex or Kodi and playback 25 or 30FPS video it will set my TV to 50 and 60Hz but if I play something on the Smart YouTube app it will actually correctly set my TV to the 25 and 30Hz modes.

It's perfectly smooth with the frame doubling but if your TV supports the native modes why not.

It was probably an initial update that came out when it first released.
That's probably true.

It doesn't seem to be working quite right just yet. All the tiles on the home screen aren't loading properly. But at least I managed to get it to pick up my WiFi signal once I added a signal booster to the mix.

I like the chunkier remote.

The signal is probably very weak making the internet slow now the thumbnails aren't loading, try and see if you can get a speedtest app installed.

That was my thought also. Signal on my phone when placed next to the Mi Box is showing full signal strength on the WiFi though.

It's not the lowest it's ever been but the Mi Box is on sale at Incredible Connection for R1299, was R1499.

Have not used the Now app on the Mi Box in ages. Brought it with on timeshare in PE and just fired it up. Plays a few minutes of 403 then this. Rinse repeat. Any idea? I have done the latest update and all apps are up to date in the App store.
