Have not used the Now app on the Mi Box in ages. Brought it with on timeshare in PE and just fired it up. Plays a few minutes of 403 then this. Rinse repeat. Any idea? I have done the latest update and all apps are up to date in the App store.

Error:

Well a 416 error is: "A 416 status code indicates that the server was unable to fulfill the request. This may be, for example, because the client asked for the 800th-900th bytes of a document, but the document was only 200 bytes long"

Will try it out when i'm home. Could just be a DSTV thing

Unfortunately everything working fine at home.

Is your connection over WiFi or fixed cable?

Has been behaving since my last post funnily enough. I am using wifi to a Huawei 4G mifi as I am on holiday. Maybe the Mi Box was just settling down after its update and Now was just unsettled. Family happily streaming some cooking show now and are out of my hair...

I had my first crash with no signal and everything just stopped responding with the Twitch app that was recently updated for the first time in more than a year. That's not the Mi Box's fault though and I don't know if 4K and HDR makes a difference but I'm extremely happy with it at 1080P, for the R1099 mine was I think it's very much a bargain.

My wake-up was a bit shaky last night ... moved to network cable now as well, so will see how that goes

Today I attempted to use the mic in the remote and the box immediately froze solid. Had to remove power to reset.
