Speaking of Amazon Prime, I've installed the app via Downloader and it seems to have worked 100%, however I can only watch certain programmes, and most doesn't work. Has anyone experienced this?

I've only tried to watch a few things and they've all worked.

Theres a new series called Hannah, so its specific series and movies, only one here and there actually works, although the app interface is 100%

I don't know if I'm imagining this but the new update seems to have improved the refresh rate switching, previously your video would play for 2-3 seconds then just cut out as the switch happens, I've tried three different files now with the new update but this time the screen stays black as the switch happens and then it starts to play, so it switches first and then plays.

Wow that has not been my experience. I'll play around a bit more and see. I don't have a VPN and don't plan on getting one just for Amazon Prime Video. I'd rather cancel it then.

yes it auto switches now. my default display settings are 1080p 60fps, when i start a 4k movie it jumps to 4k 24fps. been waiting for this update for so long.

I have noticed lip sync/audio improvements as well

The Prime Video apk that's optimized for the Shield works great on the Mi Box.

I'm currently using ver. 4.11.4-googleplay-armv7a
I haven't checked but there could well be an update to that by now.

The 2nd attempt and it's now half hour and no movement on the progress bar.

How do you guys experience installing the updates. I've just downloaded it, then it did the 10s countdown to restart and now nothing happens. Nothing outputs via hdmi but box's light is on. Been like 15 minutes. Thinking of unplugging again but don't want to interrupt the update if it's still installing. Had a similar experience previously.

Update happened smoothly as all updates. Downloaded super fast rebooted - installed and it was done. If it is taking that long then i would re-download the update

It failed twice and finally updated on the third try.

A new update just came out, it has the same changelog as last time but it's almost 700MB this time.

Received it as well earlier tonight. Have to say I get full WiFi signal now after the update that I didn't have before which is awesome. Love the new update

For anyone interested, I couldn't get the 4S to work properly via wifi (through a range extender) so I got the USB to ethernet adapter for that one as well and it's working perfectly through the same WiFi range extender, but connected via ethernet cable.

Hi Guys,

i recently bought the Mi Box S ,its been working fine for some weeks until these past few days.Its keeps disconnecting from WiFi and i struggle to reconnect.its so irritating and annoying the WiFi is working fine because every other device connected doesn't give me the error only the Xiomi Mi Box s.Does anyone have the same problem or solution to fix that problem.
