I'm regularly tempted to get a Plex pass when the occasional lifetime subscription of about $75 pops up ... Mainly for the offline sync feature for holidays etc.

However I always end up using the free Infuse app on the iPad which does a similar job of copying movies from Plex server to iPad internal storage over WiFi for offline watching.

Don't you need the pro version of Infuse to sync, the sub for Infuse Pro is $9.99 a year.

Same here. Its do with the Android TV platform because ADM needed to be side loaded.

No issues on standard Android boxes.

Going to check if there's an alternative to ADM.

Not sure, I have noticed on the free version that some movies don't play, but others do. Most play fine for me though.

Yes that's right, although just about enough works on the free version of infuse for me to not need the pro version

Went into Makro this morning without doing my homework on TV Boxes. Asked for Mibox which they did not have and walked out with 2 MyGica 495x devices.
I essentially only need the box for Netflix and really the 495x is a piece of rubbish if you use their remote.
Anyway, going to take them back.....please update me on the latest technology, bascially what is the model number of the Mibox I should get and if Makro does not have a particular model, advise where. I am in CT. Thx.

Makro will only have the crap ones, you will have to either go to Incredible Connection and hope they have stock or buy it online.

I think right now the mibox S is a better option than the older mibox 3

All sold out on the online stores. Found 1 guy advertising through Gumtree who has 2, going to pick them up tomorrow and take the MyGicas back to Makro.

What online store did you check? @Jasop posted on theprevious page the places where they are ins stock. I just bought Mi Box S from Geewiz, this morning.
I have the Mi Box 3, no problems. Though there is people complaining about issues. Just for that reason, I won't buy 2nd hand.

They are brand new sealed units from a private reseller I picked up through Gumtree.
Spoke with the guy personally, sounds legit.

I checked about half a dozen. Takealot, Raru, Incredible, Makro and couple of others. Many did not list or if it was listed was noted as sold out.

Just make sure it's not the Chinese version, I think it's pretty obvious to tell the difference. The international one is the one you want, it comes in an orange box and the Chinese version is a white box.

Got my tracking number this morning, shipped out already. And this after they mailed me yesterday, that they are moving shop and that it might take a day or two longer, to ship out. Pleasant experience, so far.
