Is it really worth the extra R300.00 to get the Mi Box 4 vs the Mi Box 3?

I am referring to these two:Does the Mi Box 4 have an international version, yet?
EDIT: Oh, you're talking about the S? If you can get the 3 for R300 less, I'd take the 3.
Thanks, had no idea they stocked it.
In the Android world devices are only updated for a few years, even though the devices are similar hardware wise I won't be surprised if Mibox S continues to receive updates longer than the 3.
Is WiFi performance not also better on the S?

Thanks for feedback, i only have 2 mibox 3s and I have no wifi issues at all, but I do have a very small place.Well, I have the 3 and will have the S by tomorrow (hopefully). So I'll be able to compare the experience soon. I won't be able to comparing the update cycle, now. We'll have to wait and see on that one.
So far I have no issues with the 3. Streaming via wifi from the start. Even play GTA V on it (wink wink) via wifi.

The only dgb that I know of is the wine company that is an amalgamation of the old Douglas Green and Bellingham companies. I'm pretty sure that dgb is their registered trading name.I'd go for the Mi Box 3, just because it's cheaper. From what I heard, there isn't a difference in experience and hardware (except BT 4.2). Shame I didn't know about this site. dbg.co.za looks familiar, where have I seen this before?

What online store did you check? @Jasop posted on theprevious page the places where they are ins stock. I just bought Mi Box S from Geewiz, this morning.
I have the Mi Box 3, no problems. Though there is people complaining about issues. Just for that reason, I won't buy 2nd hand.
Just make sure it's not the Chinese version, I think it's pretty obvious to tell the difference. The international one is the one you want, it comes in an orange box and the Chinese version is a white box.
To close off on my input.Bought the Mibox s online from Hi Fi Corporation, it came down to Cape Town from Durban

You don't need to do anything fancy, anyone can register and buy from them, are you maybe thinking of how it was with Esquire back in the day?+1 and you would only see the price if you logged in as a registered dealer ....
but I think you should still be able to buy at that price (that some might not see) via the MyBB cash account ??
Just switched mine on to find a 600 meg update

Also for anyone that doesn't want to log in just to see the price, it's R1,298.35 incl VAT.
I've bought from them a couple of times and I'm just some guy.AFAIK you have to register as a dealer with references ? A registered dealer gets it at a lower price. ... I dont think someone off the street can just walk in and buy it at R1298 incl ... whats the use then of having the registration process in the first place
When they first started, they had a deal with MyBB that their members can get a 25% on a cash account ... but things might have changed ??![]()
