I was just looking at a game today and thought to myself this clearly would play better on a controller and I already have the Mi Box but then I thought no no maybe at a later date.Yeah, hoping so! Otherwise I'll just return it. Warehouse is around the corner.
Some people have mentioned issues, yes. With hdmi, I think?Does anyone have issues on 5.1 sound, specifically Netflix?
Where it cuts out randomly for like half a second?Does anyone have issues on 5.1 sound, specifically Netflix?

I'm picking mine up tomorrow, will let you know.OK, so just to confirm, the Sparkfox - Wireless Controller (PC / Android) work perfectly with the MiBox even via Kodi ??
It's a known issue, the only issue I have left with the Mi Box.I don't have the box with me... But my brother just phoned and pointed it out.
He used to use PCM and it was fine... But today he bought a small Yamaha AV system was excited to try Netflix 5.1.
He just phoned and mentioned sound break up that he'd never had before
That's a huge issue! It's a known issue, the only issue I have left with the Mi Box.
If he wants I can tell you how to fix it with Kodi.
I wouldn't say huge issue, I watched The Highwaymen the other day and that's over 2 hours long and it only happened three times, it's seemingly random because you can rewind when it happens and it won't happen again and it can happen twice in a couple of minutes and then only again more than an hour later. That's a huge issue!
I always hear how this box is the best.
Netflix via Kodi?
To be fair I do not have the issue... So it's not quite so simple. That's a huge issue!

And the interface?I wouldn't say huge issue, I watched The Highwaymen the other day and that's over 2 hours long and it only happened three times, it's seemingly random because you can rewind when it happens and it won't happen again and it can happen twice in a couple of minutes and then only again more than an hour later.
Yes, Netflix via Kodi with EAC3 to AC3 transcoding enabled.
Optical can't do Dolby Digital Plus, that's what Netflix uses. And the interface?
Is it effected?
I'm wondering if optical works?
So with optical, it won't down mix to standard 5.1? Optical will give stereo?Optical can't do Dolby Digital Plus, that's what Netflix uses.
Optical will give stereo yes, it won't downmix, that's where Kodi comes in because when you use Netflix via Kodi it has all the capabilities of the Kodi media player. So with optical, it won't down mix to standard 5.1? Optical will give stereo?
I see some people have mentioned it came with Oreo... So that may be the issue.Optical will give stereo yes, it won't downmix, that's where Kodi comes in because when you use Netflix via Kodi it has all the capabilities of the Kodi media player.
I think it does, afaik it's a bug with the Amlogic kernel which they both should share.I see some people have mentioned it came with Oreo... So that may be the issue.
Does the LIT have this issue?
