You using the power want that it came with, and no heat issues?

Is it faster than the Skyworth i.e. - the menus and apps now snappier?

How does the remote feel, solid or flimsy?

Also bought this and using the usb on the TV for power, it does not even complete the setup as it keeps restarting or just plain shutting down and does not want to start up again. It get's HOT as hell :-( gonna return it.
Tried the included power brick as well and same thing.

Don't use the USB on the TV - it does not give enough power most times, and it is not good for the device.

Unfortunately I cant remember the exact discussion but someone had that issue before and afaik the solution was something about enabling developer options on the device and then inside those settings there is something you need to change.

Sad news is, you might have to read all pages from the start unless someone else can remember the exact answer

Recently, I started getting a weird issue with playing 4k content on my Mi Box. When I play x265 4k files, the audio plays but the video is just a black screen. I've tested it on my PC and it works fine. Has anyone else experienced this issue? if so, what's the solve?

Does the Mi-Box support X265 file format?

Yes. I should probably have been more specific but I'm specifically referring to Plex. Most 4k movies are encoded with HEVC, the issue I'm seeing is mostly with TV Shows.

Your Plex server should transcode, to any format that your Mi-Box handles best.

Still only have 1080p TV and monitors here, so no 4K . :(

Buying a Shield TV Pro is also an option. :)

Do you have Tautulli installed on your server?
