Not really - i recently bought computer equipment from Amazon and the price you see at checkout apparently includes customs. I saved R700 on a computer card buying it from Amazon and had to pay nothing extra on delivery. However the drawback is the wait. Took 1 month. In this case the saving isnt that big so just go for Kloppers or Takealot.

Amazon prime apk issue resolved?

I’m keen to get the mi box but am a little concerned about the troubles people have had with the amazon prime video app. I need to have Netflix, prime video and kodi. Is anyone using all of this successfully on the mi box?

I use our Mi box for streaming - DStv and showmax etc. What app can I use to download movies and/or series if I connect an external HDD to the box?

I don't use it but I do have the app installed, some people have said that they get kicked out after a few secs but I haven't experienced that so far, here's a link https://com-amazon-amazonvideo-livingroom-nvidia.en.aptoide.com/

That's the version of the apk I use as well.
Mostly it's fine for me. On the odd occasion the vid freezes while the audio keeps on playing. And there does tend to be some buffering now and then. These issues are very infrequent though. Backing out and restarting the app sorts everything out again.

I just bought the Takealot special, have it running, all good so far, however when I try and play a AC3 file I keep getting a lost server notice, any other file works great and fast. I also have a Lit Box, and had the same issue and I bought this Mi Box thinking all would be good..however it's not....any ideas?

Where is the AC3 file located? USB storage or over network?
