Same here, issue still the same even after trying all the HDR to SDR and vice versa settings. Casting the DStv Now app from cellphone to Mi Box works fine though. Just have the dark stream when playing any DStv Now channel from the app on the Mi Box itself.

Hopefully the next update will fix the issue. Tried to engage with them on twitter, but they wanted to log a ticket with my ID number, etc. So I couldn't be bothered

So DSTV Now worked fine on the LG Scarlet TV in my office, but now using the same Mi Box on a Hisense TV at the timeshare in Plett where I am on holiday, the picture was shaded / dark. Perhaps this is tv related?

It worked perfectly before the last update to the app

I just bought the Takealot special, have it running, all good so far, however when I try and play a AC3 file I keep getting a lost server notice, any other file works great and fast. I also have a Lit Box, and had the same issue and I bought this Mi Box thinking all would be good..however it's not....any ideas?

What are you using to play the file? Have you tried VLC?

Have you tried uninstalling, and then reinstalling it?

I had an issue with a recent update, and uninstalling and reinstalling it through the play store fixed it for me.

Having a problem with the speech in the mi box, it used to work fine to search etc but since upgrading to Oreo it doesn't work anymore? Anything I need to check?

Language is set to US English.

Set the language to English South Africa

Set Search language to English SA and main language to English US, still doesn't work.
