Yes, I have been having this issue lately myself. What is the solution. I always have to restart the box for the remote to pair again

I manually unpaired and re paired the remote - seems to be working.................... so far

I hesistated doing the update after reading about all the issues, but ironically it looks quite smooth thus far.

Only issue is that its not reading my powered external hdd either directly or through the adapter. Tried the hdd with an mxq pro and it reads perfectly. Flash drives also work.

Any ideas?

There's some info earlier in this thread about this (if it is what i think you're experiencing).

First Oreo update kills NTFS support but I think there's a second update that should have been downloaded when you updated that sorts this out.

Sideload the 'Aptoide TV' store on your device and then you'll have a bunch of apps you can grab from there, including DSTV Now.

Not too far back in this thread, if memory does not fail me, is a very good post on how/what etc. on side loading apps and how it all fits together - I may be mistaken and it is in the LIT TV box thread, in which case, my apologies. On my phone - computer not available at the moment.

Found that you sometimes have to get the right version of an app and it then works, sometimes APKPure, app does not work, but APToide, app works etc. No sure why, but some apps seem to be a lucky packet.

Learnt this the hard way after installing a dozen apps in one go only to realize later that they are hit and miss for the most part - have my work set out this weekend

“sideloading Android TV Apps” did you try search for that term on google? It’s a fairly easy process that’s very popular in the Android world so other information about it can be easily found.

Just download any file explorer (most people recommend es file explorer) and you can install your apks from there.

Does anyone have dstv now working on the beta release? or is it my understanding that it wont work on the beta release has its not a signed release?
