This is what I ahte about SA. If someone in the ruling party does something you can't object or comment negatively on their behaviour. If you do, then you are automatically agaisnt the party, racist and a supporter of the apartheid regime.

FFS....when will idiots stop making comments like this....or IS IT just "African" (entire african continent) to be generally corrupt and is it expected that when you cooupy a public office that you will line your own pockets......

Eh? The point seems to be that having been in the struggle excuses any misbehaviour. The hell?

i have a theory, if the south african public is as tough on politicians as they are on sportsmen, then we would of been a 1st world country by now

Or if we were as hard on politicians as they are on sports coaches...
if they could apply that effort to the real issues...

Gee the ANC using apartheid to excuse all Yengeni's sins, how original ... News at 10, 11 and 12 (but the ANC doesn't influence any news broadcast). James Ngculu should be dismissed, since he can't come up with a new scapegoat.

Just heard it on the news. They asked Justice Malala - e news political analyst about the Tony thing and he says "it seems there are 2 different treatments for the rich and powerful and the poor". So this educated man is also for the apartheid era? Because of his criticism of the preferential treatment of Tony? give me a break...

Final thing. He also made a good point talking about which other prisoners gets received, visited by and sent of by the Correctional services head honcho? Pfffttt is all i can say!

interesting comments from golden miles bhudu

'Good riddance' to Yengeni
2007-01-15 13:00:38

Johannesburg - Former ANC chief whip Tony Yengeni's early release is good riddance, said the SA Prisoners' Organisation for Human Rights (Sapohr) on Monday.
Sapohr president Golden Miles Bhudu welcomed convicted fraudster Yengeni's early release and that the organisation did not have the time to comment on his "childish, arrogant and spoiled brat behaviour and misconduct".
