this is my report, i have had enough!

i took out a contract with cell c for a motorola Xoom tablet which comes with a 500mb free internet data. i am billed every month double what i owe, which is 500 rands, i have phoned cell c and was told it would be rectified, it wasnt, i even went several times to the store in lenasia trade route mall where they helped me and assured me it was rectified, but months after struggling im still billed enormous amounts by cell c, my question is, can somebody inform me on how the ombudsman works i need to 1. report this horrible service, and 2. cancel this nightmare of a contract and give them their tablet. i seriously have had enough of hours and hours on the phone with rude consultants while im unnecessarily trying to fix the same thing over, and over and over again. i am very unhappy with cell c's unprofessional service, its appalling

You will probably receive a generic reply, but might achieve something. Do you have the names and times of the calls to CellC? It always helps, since nowadays most calls are recorded. I got a payment from a Gap Cover insurance when the lazy claims clerk rejected the claim without reading the policy. When I went to the office and confronted her, she denied speaking to me, so I produced the time, they looked it up and there was the conversation. She just walked out the office but the manager got the claim paid and 1 year's free premiums.

Why don't you cancel the debit order and pay them EFT in the meantime?

Hi Retro. I'm also in Lenasia, and I've also had my fair share of issues with Cell C (see my signature below). I will ask the person who helped me out at Cell C to have a look at your post here, and try to assist.

Please PM me your cell number and email address, so that I can forward it on to him.
