You can ask telkom to disable interleave and re enable fast path confirmed.

It took me 6 months ,a ton of screenshots and DSLstat reports. Finally I begged the previous telkomZA rep to remove me from the List, because I had non-stop issues. been ASSIA free for over a year now...If they cannot find a problem with your line then you are screwed..I had constant line drops even after they replaced my line from the pole connection Box to my house..This useless monitoring software is just a way to force people to get fibre the second its available, that's all

Telkom should do it for you with no issue, it took me a while in the beginning but its best to ask them on twitter.

I'd be more than happy to get fine, if I could actually get fibre. Fibre was fun for the past few years, and now I have endless issues with the line self. Sad actually. No fibre in sight.

So I asked telkom to switch me to Fast path mode and my latency went from 35ms to 10ms. Which is amazing but I seem to lose out on ASSIA extra line sync tho...

Yeah you do lose on that, if you were not really experiencing any issues while assia was enabled you can ask them to enable it again.
So I asked telkom to switch me to Fast path mode and my latency went from 35ms to 10ms. Which is amazing but I seem to lose out on ASSIA extra line sync tho...

They told me that If I want the extra line sync I have to switch back to interleave in order to get ASSIA back...but I dont know I really like the low latency :)

Do you know who I could speak to with regards to having it permanently disabled? I have had them put me on fast path every day to every couple of days for the past week and it is getting very annoying how it keeps going back to interleave. Did you speak to telkomZA on here to have it done?

Yes I spoke to TelkomZA, but that's when Charl was still the TelkomZA rep. You can ask any one here and they will only say good things about him, a legend in my opinion. Now its Terence I think. You can try to ask him, but don't hold your breath. The last rep truly cared about his customers, even if you had another ISP managing your line.

I just asked telkom through twitter and they have not switched it back yet...they said it was my choice if I wanted to switch back
