dont know why, but i dont like Dros.
I have had some crazy food poisoning from there, that could be it

I used to go to Dros CapeGate often, but then they got expensive. :( And as of late every night was pretty much a sausage fest :(

Right now in Namibia, my braai..... Listening to the Eagles..

Mmmh cannot post pics from ipad...

That does sound kind of awesome.

Opener at Southender, main course at Mandarin Inn, dessert at Eddie Macs, shooters at Barmy Army. Quick pitstop at Glendore Arms while dropping kids off... now to find some supper, maybe at the Pitch and Putter, and then back to one of the aforementioned!

geez dude, sunrise is not just a dingy bar, its an absolute hole. About 10 years ago it was fun to go to, last time i went, i had 5 Nigerians at my window before i got out the car. The place was just filled with dealers and people who really should be home recovering.

Hogs head is not bad, im glad its quietened down a bit,. Only problem, no windhoek draught on tap (the draught bottles are awful).

Must say, chicagos was pretty cool. Ordered a few long islands, the cocktails arrived with an extra glass of coke (to mix in later, according to the waiter)

Colony Arms ... craighall just off Jan Smuts
Chicanos ... Randpark Ridge just off Beyers (opp Mozamibik restaurant)

Was at Sunrise last month - I'd pretty much avoid it. The only reason for going to because everything is closed ... And the stories with all the dealers etc is true. Very dodge place

Griffen is pretty cool - but if I remember, fairly pricey. You generally don't have SAB beers there though and your craft beers are alway more expensive

If you like that, you'd like Foundry in Parktown - great beer and vibe
