Only partly true. There is nothing stopping a youtuber from putting their own adverts in their videos.

10k views across a few videos should be easy to get. If they were asking 10k subscribers then that would have been another story.

Good. So someone uploads a schitty recording of a music video, and gets 50k views. wtf.

This seems pointless...

With annoying "origonal" "informative" "Top ##" channels that get 100k - 1mil per video, this will not work.

As with "music" or "copied" videos, Google needs to up their game with their analytic algorithms to identify not only original pieces of video and audio, but also account for deliberate pitch and speed changes, plus distortion.

Also they need to revise licensing, just select a radio button! Let's say, it says that video is free to distribute, or video is non-profit, or video is copyright protected. No "Standard Youtube licence" nonsense.
Depending on a selected option, the uploaded video will be placed on contentID.

Also, indeed, add subscriber count check. Rarely "creative" uploaders get past hundreds or thousands.
