I thought it would be nice to start a thread on which online shops are worth going to. If any of you have had a good experience with an online shop, you should post it here, and the website address ... that way we can protect ourselves and make sure we shop in good reliable FRIENDLY places. Also, it is not only restricted to hardware, can be anything.
I will add the first website to this thread:
I was searching for a good graphics card, along the lines of an 8800gtx, and came accross a few shops. Out of all the shops I e-mailed for advice, Digital Addiction was the quickest to respond. He told me everything I needed to know, and replied to every e-mail I sent him within 30 minutes ... even the ones I sent at 11pm at night. As a bonus his price was the best I could find on the internet, so basically they have great prices and great service. More than what I can say for some of the other competitors. When it came time to purchase ... I found out that I couldn't use a credit card on his site, and was a bit worried because he required an EFT or Cash Deposit. I decided to trust my gut, and paid the amount. He confirmed that proof of payment was received and that he would send when it had reflected. About 2 days later, I received the item to my door via his courier company Berco Express. I am very happy with his service, and will definately shop there again. And another upside is all pages requiring some sort of user data are SSL encrypted.
