I was thinking of maybe doing stationery ... but somethings tells me its pretty pointless to sell stationery online ... I already have a supplier though ... what do you guys think? Problem is ... no one wants to buy a R10 pen and pay R15 to receive it 3-5 days later via post. And courier will just be rediculous.

digitaladdiction.co.za is nauseating.

If a site intends to stand out from the rest, it doesn't mean that it must be very bright, and sharp.

Geez, makes my eyes bleed.

Lol ... I like my colours ... and I've had tons of good remarks from customers about my colour scheme ... and if you search on the forum ... there is a thread about critisizing my shop that I created ... I had good remarks on there as well.

The design of the site is to be funky, bold and new age ... when I can afford it, it will be completely custom developed and even better ... but that won't be for a year or two.

no SA shop has come close to what I've experienced when using amazon.com you can track your package from you amazon account and stock prices get updated constantly.

I found www.sybaritic.co.za really good, they let you add the owner on msn messenger and you can chat to him directly about any problems or anything.

www.prophecy.co.za is suppose to be good I think but the 1 time I tried to use it, I placed an order and then they never replied or did anything further...

Same thing happened to me once but I realized I emailed the proof of payment to the wrong address its a qbits address, you can also use the forum to get assistance... I asked for a product to be stocked and it was stocked the same day just by using the forum.

Do you guys like to chat over skype/msn to shop owners ... I have skype, but no one ever contacts me with it, even though I'm under contact us section.

I'll add you on Skype once I get home, eitai :) Just in case I suddenly have enough cash lying around for an upgrade one day (which will probably not be soon) :D

Or rather, add me (I'm going to forget) :D

But I do enjoy being able to talk to a vendor quicker than emailing, I think more online shops should start doing it...

I need to get a smartphone, cause I'm not always home therefore not always online, even if my pc is on.

One thing I always look for is the shipping rates. Even if it is only approximate, I would like to have a look at it before I register. I want to get an idea of what the total cost would be. However, I don't see many sites offering this information.

Prophecy = R50 if order is under R1000, free if more than R1000. :D
