So...

One of those crazy moments in my life, but here it goes.

December is approaching and all of this that I'm about to do or say is dependent on the fact if I am working during December or not, so far I'm not, but that could change, so here goes:

I need to chill, as in have a holiday, but I have decided this year not to spend it with my family. They are split across S.A. any case, so it's not going to work for me.

I have a tight budget and I want to see and experience some parts of South Africa, which I haven't seen (I've seen GP, MP, FS).

I have no vehicle. I have no license.

I am working on a tight budget, let's say about R10K, more or less, this could change, I'm not hundred percent sure as things stand now.

I have 2 full weeks to kill, one week to zone out and party back at home with my friends.

So.

How would you do it?

Where would you go?

I'm a young white male, I don't want to be raped and mugged, so walking and hiking doesn't sound so appealing.

Any pointers?

I don't care much for luxury 5 star accommodation, so backpackers etc. will do as well. I need a route. I need a plan of action and a whole map sort of like a Skyrim or some such where I can take my quest and be the Hero that said screw you who just asked me 10 minutes ago are you going to walk? Yes, I did walk. But it was fun.

Yeah all you need to do is take a bazooka and some early warning system along.

You could do a really good trip with 10K and two weeks, sticking to public transport. Do you like scenery, wildlife, beaches or drinking?

Last time I was in KZN and FS was as a child though, KZN has a soft place in my heart. I like beaches, scenery, wildlife and ladies and I like drinks, but I'm not a boozer, but have a few now and again to chill. All advice welcome. Bazooka noted.

For me Cape Town and surrounds are the place to go. So easy to go from coast to coast and then night-life in harbour. The best will be where lots of people in public conglomerate for safe keeping. Also I am sure many tours are available like harbour cruise, winefarms etc. Best to get Cape town brochures.

If quiet peace and relaxation you are after then look at some unique resorts with spas and night activities.

Yeah, the Garden Route would be an excellent choice. Scenery, beaches, and the chance to meet people. Or maybe Eastern Cape coastline if you want something a bit more quiet.

this tera. You could even start from Knysna (Highfield's backpackers). Sedgefield - opposite Swartvlei caravan park...restaurant pub at the entrance...make friends and organise sleeping spot. When in Mossel bay go hang out in Trawlers and The Irish Hub and make friends with the folks camping in The Point or Milkwood Caravan Parks. (they'll sort you out with sleeping spot - free).
Summary: Make site seeing quick from Knysna on wards and get to Mossel bay quick
