(1) Uncapped or LOW priced data access on GPRS/EDGE between 22h00 and 06h00.
(2) Carry-over on bundles

111

I want to see Vodacom kick out their existing call centre and replace it with a CRM system that is on a par with, or superior to, MTN's call centre.

111 is truly shocking. I want my calls to be answered within 3 rings, and then the necessary information given without being kept on hold for an hour!

Also, with all the ICASA talk about local uncapped, how about applying this to Vodacom / MTN / Cell C as well? I don't mind paying R2/mb for surfing internationally through my phone, but I'd like to see the concept of free local uncapped surfing via GPRS explored.

A regularly-updated page giving real and accurate information about current and recent problems experienced. (This can save a lot of unnecessary 155 calls.)

How exactly did you arrive at those precise prices?

As to the question... I'd say MNP

Since getting 3G in our rural areas is beyond even the most optimistic Christmas wish, how about EDGE for the edgeless north?

At least 50c/MB for GPRS, on par with Virgin Mobile.
PPDBs for top up customers cheaper than 50c/MB.

Surely thats not too much to ask for??? :D

My only wishlist, would basically be much cheaper bandwidth... on a par with Virgin, or cheaper than Virgin....

Then MAYBE i could actually do some interesting things online... and possibly do a little bit of gaming on Xbox live as well....

Automatic setting of the phone time according to the official SA time.

It can't be that difficult to get things correct to a few seconds

I'll also say cheaper data rates. We all know they can do it. If Virgin Mobile can charge 50c/MB then Vodacom can charge 20c/MB if not FREE.

If you really want, give us 1GB free per month and 50c/MB after that. Is that too much to ask??

I'll try and keep my suggestion regarding data rates realistic here.

Vodacom, all (locked in)contract subscribers should be charged the in-bundle rate for all data usage. In other words, none of this 500megs for so much and then out of bundle rates after that crap.
Whats up with that anyway?

Where do I start?
1. Kindly stop resetting my Voicemail. Ok, I don't use it that often but why keep turning it off? I'm using the account as you can see.

2. Improve the bandwidth of voicemail. I can hardly hear the messages. Now to replay the darned things I have to into the menu and find the number there. Why not have this 'replay message' in the top menu?

3. Stop the SPAM. We know where it originates...!

Better prices on upgrade phones. Vodacom is almost twice as expensive on upgrade phones, than MTN. Almost wanna make me move over. (example: imate Jasjar, R7000 @ vodacom, R2300 @ MTN on contract)

Oh, number portability please :D
Faster release dates one new phones.

Set the response time for web based and email queries/faults etc at 1 hour.

it is an outdated practice to batch it all for imminent tomorrow

How about setting up a local only apn that could be used for VPN connections, local browsing, downloads etc. and charge a substantially reduced rate for access to it, seeing as there'd be no intl bandwidth charges involved.
