Thought it was Telkom having troubles…

When are these Google muppets going to sort out these constant issues?

Tried running YouTube on an iPad and a computer using Firefox side-by-side on the same network. The computer streamed the videos without a problem, while the iPad had a lot of problems with loading. The main differences between these two were:

  • The platform obviously
  • The web browser on the computer had ad blocking in place
  • I was logged into YouTube on the iPad, but not on the browser

The impression was that the problem lay with one of the above differences.

I was having issues with installs in Play Store earlier this week, is it linked to the same issues?

It is, I also had issues, but when connecting to my 3g on MTN it was fine. so depends on your connection.
