Haven't seen YouTube this bad in a decade.
I solved the problem by getting the fam to use a VPN. It works fine over the VPN.

The reason for this is likely because they don't host any on network caches and just get the traffic from Google directly. Some random network in Bulgaria is allowing access to some of the Cloudflare CDIR's to their GGC probably by mistake.

zero issues on mtn fixed wifi .2 lines both no issues .kids have been on since early and no complaints

Warp uses mess me around location on youtube, kept thinking I was not in SA. Could be why they disallowed it.

Though on my windows machines everything works

just downloaded the mybb app .no issues as well as spotify also no issues

Which DNS server(s) are you using?

I'm with Metrofibre Rocketnet. Both 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 DNS servers are not working with Google play services.

Seems MTN on my mobile works fine.
