So... your opinion is, because he says 'facts don't care about your feelings' he shouldn't express his opinions:unsure:
He is welcome to share his opinions, using the position of owning all the facts just places his arguments under scrutiny. As someone who also claims that facts don't care about "feelings", he has gotten emotional to the point that he has walked out of interviews and rampaged on twitter that he is a victim.

I'm not hating on the guy, I am just questioning why the "facts don't care about your feelings" catch phrase is so popular when he doesn't even apply it properly.

Edit: It is like an ANC politician claiming "Equality for all" when we know that not everyone has equal opportunities through that politician's own policies

Jews clearly have a better sense of humour too  no surface, I didn't say all smart people are Jewish or only Jewish people are smart, or even that all Jewish people are smart. One only has to look at the current Israeli government to see that's not true
Perfect. so jews are smarter sometimes and non-jews are smarter some other times. And they all can be smarter and non-smarter at same times or different times. ;)

Okay, so could say more of a 'facts do care about your opinions'?

So, newton, faraday & darwin and thousands of such scientists - they were basically jews?
Yup.
Nobel Prizes have been awarded to over 900 individuals, of whom at least 20% were Jews, although the Jewish population comprises less than 0.2% of the world's population.
Chemistry, Physics, Medicine and Economics are pretty much dominated by Jews.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jewish_Nobel_laureates

a) The significantly higher than average IQ of Ashkenazi Jews (see this article in the Economist for a credible layman’s analysis; for a scientific take (one of many) see Gregory Cochran’s work: abstract and full paper). Consider that IQ is the most powerful single determinant of long-term socioeconomic success and influence (my lab has published on this issue). Consider also that the effect of a mean or average difference in IQ is dramatically increased at the tails of the distribution, so that a 10-15 point difference produces increasingly large inequalities in group representation in proportion to the degree that a given job requires higher general cognitive ability. This means that proportional Jewish over-representation increases as the demand for IQ increases. Simply put: if a very complex job or role requires an IQ of 145, three standard deviations above the mean and characteristic of less than one percent of the general population, then a group with a higher average IQ will be exceptionally over-represented in such enterprises.

b) The relationship between IQ and Big Five trait Openness to Experience. Openness to Experience is one of the five cardinal personality traits (Wikipedia will fill you in rapidly if you need more info). Openness to Experience has often been considered the reflection of general cognitive ability or intelligence in personality. It’s what you are referring to when you describe someone as thoughtful, smart, artistic or philosophical. People with high IQs tend overwhelmingly to be higher in trait Openness to Experience (particularly in the Openness to Experience aspect of Intellect (Dr. Colin DeYoung’s lab spearheaded a paper on this issue).

c) The relationship between Openness to Experience and political liberalism: Political affiliation is importantly associated with personality. Conservatives/right-wingers tend to be high in Conscientiousness (particularly in the Conscientiousness aspect of Orderliness) and low in Openness to Experience while liberals/left-wingers tend to have the reverse pattern (low Conscientiousness (particularly aspect Orderliness) and high Openness to Experience. The story is somewhat more complicated than that (which we also reviewed), but that covers the basics.

They do know better, which is why the majority of Jews in the US are Democrats. The guy who was supposedly the smartest man ever, Einstein, was a Jewish Socialist. Maybe it you and your conservative friends who need to be smarter.
Funny how not even the leftist paradises of Sweden and Canukistan are planned economies:
Einstein asserts that a planned economy that adjusts to production would guarantee a livelihood to every member of society:

In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion. A planned economy, which adjusts production to the needs of the community, would distribute the work to be done among all those able to work and would guarantee a livelihood to every man, woman, and child. The education of the individual, in addition to promoting his own innate abilities, would attempt to develop in him a sense of responsibility for his fellow men in place of the glorification of power and success in our present society.[1]
Einstein was human like the rest of us. He made serious mistakes like the inclusion of the cosmological constant in Relativity.

If you think planned economies of a good thing, then I would think you would welcome the Trumpenfuherer to make all the economic decisions in everyone's lives. You know, where and when abortions are allowed, what sort of working hours should be allowed, when people can take holidays etc.

His motto should be "My opinions don't care about your feelings".

He has argued with scientists, psychiatrists and professors on topics that they're experts on, telling them that they are wrong. He is an editor and a lawyer.

"Facts don't care about your feelings"
vs
"there is a gay agenda, renewable energy is a joke, Obama is an anti-semite, etc"
It is a joke.

  • Had Germany spent €511.75 billion on nuclear instead of renewables, and the fossil plant upgrades and grid expansions they require, it would have had enough energy to both replace all fossil fuels and biomass in its electricity sector and replace all of the petroleum it uses for cars and light trucks.

So, do you feel yourself inferior to jews in terms of intellect?
1) I have Jewish heritage.
2) Comparing an individual against a group is statistically incorrect.
3) No, because like Einstein isn't representative of all Jews, I am not representative of all white people.

It is exactly the same reason why I don't feel inferior to black people at parkruns just because the guy who comes first is usually black. He isn't representative of all black people.

How did we go to censorship, to MAP to Jewish intelligence?
They are the illuminati, elitist, lizard people that live in the centre of the world. Who control the banks and recently social media which include Facebook.

I'm not an expert on it myself, but he was citing thermodynamics as a reason, not the costs
Thermodynamics is a very good reason why Nuclear power is the only realistic way forward, specifically power density.

The Gouda wind farm in the Western cape for example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gouda_Wind_Facility
It generates 138 MW of power from an area that roughly fits in a circle with a 50km radius, that is about 7854 km^2 .

Lets compare that to another power station in the Western Cape, Koeberg.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koeberg_Nuclear_Power_Station
It generates 1860MW of power from an area that is about 22km^2 (and most of that is a nature reserve).

A resounding success, Germany pays more for electricity than anyone else in Europe
https://www.cleanenergywire.org/news/german-households-and-industry-pay-highest-power-prices-europe

And they haven't done much in terms of reducing CO2 emissions.
You should start a thread and add all this info into it. Looking through all the material, there is a very compelling case for the use of nuclear. If only we were here 10 years ago, and not now. The latest Chernobyl mini-series is definitely not going to help either, and will just bring up all these old fears.

It's already started (by a very unfunny leftie comedian twerp):

Jo Brand's Hate Speech

Last night on Radio 4 (where else?) leftie luvvie Jo Brand fantasised about throwing acid over politicians she doesn’t like. Making the kind of joke that leaves a bad taste, she told Victoria Coren Mitchell “why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?” It’s okay because Jo is left wing so she’s really compassionate…

“Certain unpleasant characters are being thrown to the fore, and they’re very, very easy to hate, and I’m kind of thinking, why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?
That’s just me, sorry, I’m not gonna do it, it’s purely a fantasy, but I think milk shakes are pathetic, I honestly do. Sorry.”
She’s not the first to promote an acid attack. Nigel Farage told Guido that “This is incitement of violence and the police need to act.”

Pretty much an irrelevant strawman argument about how much space a wind farm take, because that space isn't mutually exclusive. You can do anything underneath and between the turbines and the actual space used is very little.
