Lesotho/Eswathi when?

as when they get starlink officially, its pretty much game over for SA.

Just read the article? It's not that hard.

According to Starlink’s coverage map, it is also scheduled to go live before the end of the year in Angola and Eswatini.

All of South Africa’s remaining neighbours — Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and Zimbabwe — have estimated rollout dates sometime in 2024.

so why is ICASA being such a B about Starlink, I mean its pretty much stupid at this point.
just walk across the border buy it, set it up and bobs your uncle, unless ICASA is gonna be like the TV license inspectors of old.

Go ask them, I don't know.

Starlink in Eswatini might be the push I need to move to Royal Jozini full time..... Hmmmmm.

Greasing palms. It is a big thing locally.
but its actually pointless, I mean people buy imported JDM spec cars drive them around like nobody cares,
weird plates and stickers galore, police look the other way, and everything keeps ticking along.

same thing with Starlink, people will just buy a kit from Lesotho, and continue on as usual,
ICASA be dammed, it will actually turn into a cottage industry.

No thanks, I'm not going to trust a guy who can't run a social media platform to run an ISP.

Or he bought it just to get it out of the Left's hands and kill it off. Maybe it never was his intention to buy it, grow it and derive a huge income from it. We all know by now that the Left did use it to manipulate elections and elections outcome in the US in 2020. And, it already became more difficult for the Left to manipulate elections as we saw in the Mid-Term elections last year and them losing the House. So, such move already paid off.

There could be two sides to a coin.

We are waiting for Amazon to launch their version. Doesn't look like RSA will ever get Starlink under the BEE regulations.

All the coins I have seen have 2 sides.
