President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced on Wednesday that Zimbabwe will hold its presidential and parliamentary elections on August 23.

Mnangagwa, elected president in 2018 after a military coup that deposed President Robert Mugabe the previous year, is seeking a second term in office.

The 80-year-old’s main rival is lawyer and pastor Nelson Chamisa, 45, who leads the newly formed Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).

another sham election, like his excellency Comrade captain general admiral marshall Kim Jong un.

Like the ANC would love to be able to do here (and might even do so) the election is a facade, and the dictators will stay in power. China and Russia will make sure of that too.

Apparently most of the populace is starving and resorted to eating rats on a stick, all just to not have the "white boss" around telling you what to do.
Mind boggles how they revere people like Mugabi et al and the creature that took his place.
I guess stupid is as stupid does.

You think our elections are free and fair?

Free and fair when the DA gets a big chunk of the metros and other municipalities from the ANC, otherwise not free and fair.
At least the most diverse party in South Africa will take the win then...

Fun fact, the scoring system for "Who's Line is it Anyway" is based on the same scoring system used for Democratic African elections
still its no fun for the rulers to just claim victory,
they have to put on a song and dance as well.
