Apparently there is voting going to happen on whether the Cosatu should support the SACP contesting the elections alone.

Apparently there is voting going to happen on whether the Cosatu should support the SACP contesting the elections alone.

I doubt they'll vote that way, but if they do it will be the absolute death knell for the SACP as an entity, they will no longer be able to claim to have any real support since the support they "rely" on would be loyal to the ANC as a political entity.

Yeah, that is the challenge, the SACP as a party have literally done nothing from 1994, all they have been doing was getting positions from the ANC, never got involved in communities, never promoted themselves or done anything that would entice the voters.
