Hey guys,

DIY installed an MG5050 paradox system without problems. All is working but the last step seems tricky.

Have a ZoneWatch Radio that tells the armed response to come and rescue me (one hopes). The wiring as instructed doesn't seem to work. See picture attached below.

So far I've connected:

12V Pos - to positive battery terminal
12V Neg - to negative battery terminal and to RING terminal on MG5050
Terminal 8 (Telco) - to TIP terminal on MG5050
Terminal 1 - Panic - haven't got a clue where to connect to on panel
Terminal 2 - Alarm - haven't got a clue where to connect to on panel

Obviously the 2 terminals need the correct output to get the radio to fire. So far the radio sends test signals perfectly and when connecting the Terminal 2 contact (Alarm) to 12V it sends alarms immediately.

But which are the right output terminals on the MG5050 to only fire on panic or alarm?

Thanks for the help, Matt

RESOLVED - for future ref - how to connect RDC TX 790CID to paradox MG5050:

12V pos to Battery POS
12V neg to Battery NEG and RING
Terminal 8 to TIP

Set panel to Ademco ID
#Tone 1234
#account 1234

Make sure panel is set to Comm Dialler IN ADDITION to GPRS or IP.

Good luck out there.
