Zuckerberg slams Apple App Store rules as a "conflict of interest"

Meta Platforms Inc. Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said that Apple Inc.’s App Store presents a conflict of interest, adding his voice to a flurry of criticism of the iPhone maker’s software policies.

“It is problematic for one company to be able to control what app experiences end up on a device,” Zuckerberg said Wednesday in an interview at the New York Times DealBook conference.

Who honestly gives a crap what Zuck says. His platform allows all sorts of hate speech and interference on it.
Splinter in own eye & all...

Agreed, but how do you have a platform that does not have hate speech?

Hmm... interesting.

I thought Musk was flirting with danger by goading Apple, but it seems he may have been fomenting a bit of a "palace coup" in the background. I'm betting he knew very well in advance that Zuckerberg (and apparently some other very influential tech VC's and heavyweights in Silicon Valley) would ally against Apple.

Build your own MetaZuckPhone! Then you can sell people's data/voice chats/personal info directly from their phones.

The most important thing is to not read it. And if you do, block the person/place where you read it.
If you walk into a bar and everyone shits on your head, you dont stay, you go to another bar, else you gonna have a shitty time.

...and yet his platform also screws people over with advertising etc. Ironic.

Not a fan of FB and their business strategy but you seem to really live this stuff. Any successful businessperson you trust?

I said yesterday that this could happen.

Meta aren't happy (Facebook / Instagram / Whatsapp)
Musk isn't happy (Twitter / Tesla / Starlink)
Telegram aren't happy
Epic aren't happy
Spotify aren't happy

As powerful & almighty Apple think they are, they do need balance what could potentially happen

Shame man, assume much? I don't live it at all and I am sorry to disappoint you. I was just pointing out a bit of hypocrisy (or midirection) on his part.
That's all...assume away though.
