Also keep in mind the old apartheid system was a type of socialist system. You cant fix a socialist past with a capitalist future you need to fix it with socialism. Very scary but true.
EDIT: Keep in mind that i might not have a clue what i'm talking about

I think as long as 90% of blacks still live in squater camps and 90% of whites still live in mansions people will remember apartheid because we are infact still apart.

Well that's not the case...

NOTE: The constitution also protects my right to NOT have her religion negatively affect me.

i.e. Double edged protection.

I love the way everyone forgets that.

That's what I said earlier. As her culture gives her the right to wear this thing. So my culture gives me the right not wanting to be served by someone who wears a dead piece of rotting skin round her arm. So what now?

You could always live for BEE deals, nice house, BMW, etc. Many seem to have adopted that culture without any problems.

Reminds me of old Julius. Julius refuses to listen to the "Western" music of the former colonialists and imperialist. But he's quite happy to wear Gucci and drive a Mercedes-Benz.

I think he should be driving a car from an African automotive company, of which there are none. Maybe a bicycle? And dress in some nice African garb made in Africa by Africans and not some Italian (Western) design company.

You can be any race-If you had dead animals skin on your hand and waiting for it to rot away then that to me is unhygienic. You can gladly eat food that is prepared with rotting animal skin on their wrist.
Unless you read a different article, I didn't see anything about the skin being 'rotting'. I presume no one working at pick n pay is allowed to wear leather either? Cause I'm sure the manager at my local one was wearing leather shoes... The employee could have worn a protective guard over her armband though, if it was such a big deal...

it wasn't properly cured so in a sense, it was 'rotting' ;)
