Lesser-known shopping app beats Pick n Pay asap! and Woolies Dash

MyBroadband tested and compared fast-delivering grocery apps, including PnP asap!, Checkers Sixty60, Spar2U, Woolies Dash and a lesser-known option, Zulzi, with surprising results.

We placed a basic order for milk, rusks, and yoghurt at each store to see how long it would take them to deliver and check delivery costs and hidden fees.

I’ve always known the Sixty60 minimum spend to be R100? Unless that’s changed within the last 72 hours.

I worry about these delivery drivers. Recently there have been accidents and deaths where they were crashed into.

I've seen how absolutely crazy they can be on the road too. Who is the quickest is probably adding to the recklessness to reach goals that get more and more absurd.

Would be interesting to see who treats and pays the drivers the best.

This is true.

I can 100% confirm this by the state of my pizza that was delivered last week - it was a giant ball of dough and topping, not sure what the hell the delivery guy was doing on his bike..

I have PnP, Woolies & Checkers, but good ol'e Sixty60 just works for me..

I'm surprised you got such a quick delivery from Pick n Pay. I have used them 3 times, and all 3 times the delivery arrived over 4 hours after the order was placed. The quickest was 4 hours 10 minutes. The longest was 6 hours 30 minutes!!!
