Zuma’s out-of-jail card?

ANC insiders say the ruling party is considering passing legislation
protecting the president in office from prosecution. This move - known
as the Chirac option -would stall Jacob Zuma’s prosecution for at least
five years. Constitutional lawyer Professor George Devenish discusses
the issue.

surprised ?

What great motivation for the kids. Become president and you can do as you please because the law doesn't apply to you.

They (the ANC) are probably going to have to move quickly on this, as it will need an amendment to the constitution to get through the legislature... And I believe the ANC will be giving up their 2/3rds majority in the next election.

As I've pointed out before the ANC never fought for democracy but for power just like mad Bob. While it's heartening that many people are waking up to this reality now, although when it's so plainly evident I might add, it's far too late :(
