The Helen Suzman Foundation says that president Jacob Zuma is wrong when he claims he can do nothing to defuse the mess between finance minister, Pravin Gordhan and the Hawks.

The Helen Suzman Foundation says that president Jacob Zuma is wrong when he claims he can do nothing to defuse the mess between finance minister, Pravin Gordhan and the Hawks.

The headine is wrong and clearly inflammatory. There is no constitutional power the President can actually exercise, apart from asking the ANC MPs to vote in favour - which anyone can do actually.
