Zuma slates Zondo commission into state capture for probing his children’s bank accounts

Cape Town - Former president Jacob Zuma has launched a broadside attack at the Zondo Commission for investigating his children’s bank accounts, saying he would not take the matter lying down.

He described the investigation as an attack on his children and said he considered it a declaration of war which he would not take lying down.

In a statement dated October 15, Zuma said he was appalled the commission targeting his children. He said he would not tolerate this and would fight the “attack” on his children with all his might.

It looks like Zondo is (finally) following the money (a technique which appears to be foreign to the Hawks and NPA). The fact that it has a caused such upheaval to Zuma (declaration of war?!?), suggests that if they want any success, they should be digging even deeper in this direction. His children are a good start, but why limit it to them?

The gall of this guy, who does he think he is. You are no longer Number 1 Zuma you slug. Go blow hot air somewhere else.
He still in control of his faction in government which is the largest. He has a hell of a lot of favours to call on.

He has Ace, the PP, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma who controls SAs lockdown and state of emergency, Bathabile Dlamini and too many other to mentions. All his 20 children and their extensive wealth. Everyone he benefited during his 2 terms will support him. So many organizations like the ANC Women’s League, ANC Youth League, Mkhonto we Sizwe and BLF support him over Ramaphosa. He is still the most powerful man in the country as he has made himself the chief for life with all those loyal to him and owing him favours.
He doesn't adhere to court judgements to pay back the money.
He has have so many supporters inside the Hawks, NPA that he knows before what their plans will be. That is why the Zondo commission was established as everyone from SARS to the NPA is afraid of him. It's called state capture after all.

Add to that his successful disinformation campaign created that Ramaphosa is controlled by white capitalists and Apartheid agents. That gives him support of half the population who want more money and blame whites for their ills.

His supporters marching, destroying and looting for him will make the EFF showing in Senekal look like a Bible study gathering in comparison.

Zuma is still our de facto president. Don't forget that.

The largest faction in government yet he lost in Nasrec? Not only that but he was also removed as President and the Hawks and NPA are running amok arresting his people, all while he controls the largest faction in government?

That's nonsense conspiracy crap. Zuma's days of calling the shots are over. That's why he's been on this conspiracy train ever since being subpoenaed to the commission. If he had any pull, his own lawyers wouldn't have deserted him...

Yet there are many who have first-hand insight into his cruelty, callousness, thievery and methods, since before Camp Quattro even, and he into theirs.
Another thing he has managed to do successfully is to overestimate, perhaps deliberately, his intelligence abilities and knowledge, not only has he done that but he seemingly has managed to convince some people that he knows everything there is to know about everyone in the ANC and everything that happened in the ANC.

I watched him "spill the beans" at Zondo and all I saw is Zuma doing what we all know he is very good at, lying through his teeth.
