Zyxel AMG1302-T11C Fiber Port Forward (OPENSERVE, MWEB)

Good day guys,

I hope someone can help me.

I have a Zyxel AMG1302-T11C Router with MWEB as an ISP (Don't judge) and OPENSERVE as the Fiber provider. I am trying to open ports on the Router for my XBOX One to get the NAT open. I have put the XBOX on Static and followed THIS guide to forward the ports. Not the same Router, but interface is the same. Could the problem possibly be on the ONT Huawei device, I have phoned MWEB and they said its fine on that device.

Do you have a Access Control tab under firewall options?

Hi Ponder,

That was exactly the problem. So if you turn it off completely the Port Forwarding does not work, you have to change it to low. It actually states that in the description. Thanks!

That router is an insult to us customers. Your adsl router will work if it has a wan port.

I've been playing with this router and noticed that we are unable to upgrade the firmware (option not available). I eventually found a way to upgrade it manually and would like to know if I've unlocked any features as a result. Does the MWeb firmware restrict anything? I managed to install firmware 3.00(ABCG.13)C0
