Icasa suspends CEO pending investigation
The cautionary suspension, effective November 24, comes in the wake of the alleged violation of the Public Finance Management Act, the ICASA Act and the ICASA Policies & Procedure, the regulator said in a statement.
"To this end, Council has no option but to suspend the CEO, and institute an investigation," it continued, adding that Eric Nhlapo – general manager for broadcasting – will act as the chief executive in the interim.
