Didata invests R250m in Internet Solutions’ infrastructure
During 2005, Didata invested over 150 million rand in infrastructure, taking the total investment in South Africa during a two year period to over 250 million rand, it said on Monday.
Through continued investment in South Africa, Didata and Internet Solutions are committed to ensuring the delivery of IT solutions and services that will enhance local and international business communication, the companies said.
"The continued investment in developing IT infrastructure in South Africa is critical in ensuring we are able to continue to offer the latest technology solutions and services to corporates in South Africa," said Allan Cawood, CEO of Dimension Data Africa.
Internet Solutions supports over 46% of the entire South African leased line market and supports 75% of Corporate hosted applications, 80% of the Dial Up Market and provides services to over 80% of the top 250 listed companies in South Africa.
