Broadband Growth Stimulates Hosting Market
As the number of ADSL subscribers grows so does the number of traditionally smaller businesses that require hosting services.
Greater ADSL uptake has stimulated growth in online business and companies like AucorActive, an online auction company, have seen their unique visitors grow from 6 000 in 1999 to a current rate of 20 000 unique visitors per month.
“As more and more businesses go online we are seeing a dramatic increase in the number of hosting requests we receive on a daily basis” says Laurent Pieton, Hosting manager of Datapro.
