Neotel uncapped WiMax vs uncapped business ADSL

Neotel recently launched its NeoBroadband WiMax service aimed at businesses in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban.

Neotel’s NeoBroadband WiMax is a flexible solution that can be upgraded or downgraded to suit a business’s needs.  It allows businesses to purchase bandwidth in 1Mbps, 2Mbps, 4Mbps and 8Mbps speeds.

Neotel’s new uncapped WiMax service, which comes with 3 IP addresses, compares favourably with competing uncapped business ADSL services both in terms of price and speeds.

What many businesses may find particularly valuable is the relatively high upload speeds associated with WiMax.  While Neotel’s NeoBroadband WiMax is not fully symmetrical, uplink speeds are far higher than current DSL 4 Mbps services.

The following table provides an basic comparison between Neotel’s uncapped WiMax offerings and some of the more prominent uncapped business ADSL services available in the market today.
