Numbering Plan Regulations feedback extension
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) today announced that it has received requests for an extension of time in providing written submissions to the Draft Numbering Plan Regulations as published in Government Gazette No. 33269 on 04 June 2010.
“The Authority has reviewed these requests, and in the interests of ensuring a fair and transparent public consultation process, the deadline for written submissions on the draft regulations has been extended from the 19 July 2010 to 26 July 2010,” ICASA said in a press statement.
“A formal notification will be made in the Government Gazette. The Authority would like to make it clear that there will be no further extension with regard to this process.”
The public hearings will be held from 17 – 18 August 2010.
